Cleanser

Cleansers and soaps are really important for fighting acne. First, any liquid cleanser must be non-comedogenic. Bar soaps are nearly all non-comedogenic. Secondly, they should contain acne fighting ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, and sulfur. For maximal acne-fighting strength, I recommend using a 10% benzoyl peroxide cleanser in the morning and a 2% colloidal sulfur bar soap formulated with salicylic acid in the evening. However, for sensitive or dry skin types, a 5% benzoyl peroxide cleanser in the morning and a 1% colloidal sulfur bar soap in the evening will do wonders for acne without any irritation. For Morning Use

Topix 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Cleanser
This is a non-comedogenic benzoyl peroxide cleanser has the maximal strength of 10%. It's non-comedogenic and is very reasonably priced.

For Evening Use

Coral KAVI Sulfur Soap with Salicylic Acid
This soap is wonderful because it combines colloidal sulfur with salicylic acid: two very potent acne fighting ingredients. It's non-comedogenic, of course. As a bonus, it can be used in the shower on chest, back, and shoulder acne as well!

Topix 5% Benzoyl Peroxide Cleanser
This is a non-comedogenic benzoyl peroxide cleanser has the strength of 5%, which is strong enough to be effective for acne but is gentle enough for sensitive or dry skin types. It's non-comedogenic and is very reasonably priced.

For Evening Use

Aqua KAVI Sulfur Soap
This soap is has colloidal sulfur but does not contain salicylic acid. It's a helpful addition to the acne treatment regimen but won't irritate sensitive or dry skin. It's non-comedogenic, of course. As a bonus, it can be used in the shower on chest, back, and shoulder acne as well!
